How do I create a price book?

We offer price book creation as part of our ePB Professional Services. To set up your own price book, try scanning in electronic invoices/orders to get a head start.

What is a back office?

A back office is a term that refers to the important tasks that run a company, mostly unseen by customers. The technology of a back office in a store will pull up all product information upon the scan of that item. Information can be item name, description, product sku, price, size, promotional price, how many of these items are in the store, etc.

Why do I need a scanner?

It would take too long to enter a SKU by hand. If price tags are applied to all products in a store, price changes cannot be made easily. By using a scanner, prices and promotions can change with ease and shelf labels only need to be changed once. Scanning an item at the register saves time and is more accurate than hand entry.

Is it available in my country?

We service stores across the U.S. If you are outside of the U.S., call us for availability.

How secure is it to use cloud-based software?

Very secure. In fact, having your price book off site is an added bonus.

How do I cancel my account?

If you are unsatisfied with our product, you are free to cancel at any time.

Technical Questions

As an existing customer, why is my data delayed?

ePB connects to the store and downloads stores sales data several times a day. It may take few hours before you can see your end-of-the-day sales. However, if after a while you still don’t see them, please contact our help desk at 1-800-244-3718 or send us an email at support@success-systems.com indicating your store name, contact name, ePB product version and problem.

First steps to take may be to make sure your computer has an Internet connection. Try restarting your computer.

Why is the closed shift not showing up on the program?

ePB connects to the store and download stores data several times a day but it doesn’t connect in real time. It may take few hours before you can see your closed shift. However, if after a while you still don’t see them, please contact our help desk at 1-800-244-3718 or send us an email at support@success-systems.com indicating your store name, contact name, ePB product version, and problem.

Why are the Edit Item screens not appearing?

Make sure you have selected an item from the drop-down menu. If there is no item selected, ePB will keep default to the detail edit screen.

What if I can’t find a product in my database?

To locate an item on your price book, go to the SKU Search section of your price book. Then select the store/price book where your item is. On the left side of the screen, select the parameter that you will use to locate the item (by Description, Department, Price, SKU or Change Since)

How can I see who made the last price changes on a product?

Look up for the item that you want to check using our SKU search. Once you have located the item, right click it to go to the Main Edit Screen. Then, click on the History button that it is located on the menu.

The Item History section will list all the changes that have been done to the item in question.
